Some news on NA dates

During his concert at Shank Hall, Milwaukee 2 days ago (29th), Daryl mentions to the audience that the first date on the North American tour will be in Toronto and the last in Los Angeles. He also added that he wasn't sure if Milwaukee will be included in the itinernary.

Mike in French Press

On December 15th, an exclusive interview by French Newspaper La Tribune, based in Lyon was posted on website, leprogres.fr.

Here is a rough translation. The original page, in French is here.

Incidentally, the radio interview yesterday on Swiss radio, RSR did not conjure up any more information regarding the tour, but things of note were;

  • they reiterated that no new material is planned, but if it happens it won't be under any kind of pressure [not sure if this means pressure for a new album or pressure from Management/Record Labels to produce new material??]
  • MR said they were planning to tour the US
  • Tony mentioned that their Management could possibly think about a live album of next year's tour

Possible additional tickets in January

Tony Smith, Genesis' long-time manager made this statement today:

Please note that once the stage design and lay out has been finalised, sometime in January, there may be a few more tickets available for sale on each date once we know the sightlines etc.

And yet another date!

It was just announced today that the band will play another show, this time in the capital city of Belgium; Brussels. The gig will be put on at the Stade Roi Baudouin (King Baudouin Stadium) on June 24th.

This is starting to look more like a full-on tour, rather than "a selection of 20 shows", with 22 shows now in the European calendar. Maybe the band under-estimated the demand for tickets. Only time will tell.

Sonic Reality

Although a while back now, found some more information from the NYC rehearsals. Sonic Reality is a music and production company who make virtual instruments and production tools that can be used with today's digital samplers and Mac/PC software samplers, sequencers and digital recorders.

Dave Kerzner, CEO of Sonic Reality was invited to the rehearsals to help Genesis with their musical setup. Below photos that were taken.
